Lungs that burst life that escaped when poor souls rant and ranted more instead of reciting poetic verse I pray one day they find a way to re-discover kindness I say sadly, this dream, will never be Hens and co?cks, birds of a feather singing on the rudeness tree

So sorry that people like that feel the need to antagonize a poetry site... very clever poem, though. Thanks for being one of the 'voices of reason'! ;)

checked 'kindness' in the thesaurus andt there are dozens of alternate meanings, many 'color's for the raven's 'nevermore'

Sometimes I realize I pay too little attention to the "rants" friends tell me happen on the Soup. Then all of a sudden, a friend is gone from the site. I appreciate your call for civility, Arthur, and hope the message is received by the right people. It would be great if we all liked each other, but at the very least, let's treat each other with respect. Bravo, my friend. Hugs, Carolyn
