Lost Paradise

I took a trip in my mind today, Astonished by what I found, You only weighed a pound, All of you were at play. I wanted to stay, But I was bound, Standing on my ground! I tumbled where you lay. The grass was jade green, And the sky was baby blue, A vision I’d never seen, I stood there looking at you. Smiles and laughter filled the air, It was a lost paradise where all was fair. © Copyright: Ann Rich 2006
