Lost Love

As i sit here and ponder, Why love went away. The only thing i can think of is, It wasent meant to stay. For me love is great when everything is cool, But when it up and leaves, It makes you look the fool. Your left holding on to dreams, That you hold so dear. While you watch love drift away, It makes you shed a tear. No matter what you say or do, Nothing can make it right. The piercing arrow through the heart, Has sent it to flight. Some day it may return, But for how long i cant say, Its the lies and the tears, That makes it go away. Its a vicious circle , that no one can seem to fix, The harder we try and fail, It always comes to this. For those of you who read this, I hope it helps you see, Just what lies can do to love, The hardships its caused me. I know in Love there are no guarentees, But always try and be truthful, Or it will bring you to your knees.
