Lost In My Imagination
Lost in my Imagination
In a barren wasteland, in some far off realm
Hot breath of the sun, her kiss overwhelms
Wind stirs up sand, swirling dance, suddenly dies
Whirlwinds of heat, as if the sandstorm had eyes
No water to be had, such a desolate, depleted land
Mirages play endless tricks, reality lost at hand
Creatures fall prey, thirst, never to be quenched
Soil so dry and arid, desolation so entrenched
Isolation, within every longitude and latitude
Death befalls, in all of it's solemn magnitude
Whispering echoes, ghosts calling out some distant rhyme
Haunting effigies, just a mere illusion in the essence of time
Somewhere so sublime
Lost within a paradigm
Without any inclination
Lost in my imagination
