Lost In a Moment
Lost in a stolen moment but we acting like we own it
You say you feel one way but if that was true you would've shown it
Looking forward to the future forgetting about the past
No longer believing the good things will always last but holding on to them as they seem to go by so fast
Finally realizing my happiness is key to me being the best me I can be
You preyed on my weaknesses and this I now see
I am disarming your persona and front of being charming
What I see underneath the sheep’s clothing is alarming
I guess we all have to play the fool once
I’d rather leave than to let you lead me to a path of destruction
No thank you to your presence you have just been a interruption
Now it’s back to the regularly scheduled programming
I know what I deserve is better than you I am better off alone than wasting time with you
Refuse to end up bitter good luck to the other one you telling you with her
Lost in time silly me to think that you were really mine the cuts you left will heal in time
I am in the driver seat the course is mine, God willing someone like you I will never again find
Lost in a moment I don't want you can own it
Your true colors came through it was a matter of time and you've shown it
