Lost Child So many sad children Hurting without their parents No brothers or sisters No friends No one to care about them They huddle in corners Waiting to find anything to eat Or somewhere to sleep Their lives are muddled colors Nothing to match the world away from them Although some may try to escape To find some happiness in their lives Others give up on life Lose any hope they may have had They turn to drugs Or crime Or worse They are the ones we should cry for For they are a person lost to this world And they cannot be replaced
