Lost At Sea
I am a voice
Lost in a sea of people
I scream to be noticed. To be listened to. For somebody to care.
Yet my cries are washed away by the waves of voices more worthy of being heard.
The rising black ocean of concealed feelings, the agony of keeping all my pain trapped inside me, slowly starts to drown me, squeezing all the air from my lungs.
Crushing this already broken girl with the weight of all she is holding.
These waves carry her away.
Unheard and unnoticed
She drifts.
Lost.
