Lost and Found
She had misplaced her keys and couldn't find them anywhere
Saying, "oh come on please for I always put my keys right there"
Just like she had done everyday in setting her keys by the door
But now much to her dismay those keys aren't there anymore
She looked high and low even looking where they could not be
And where ever she would go it was those keys she didn't see
Upstairs and downstairs she went as now she was running late
And now she started to vent and was getting pretty darn irate
When suddenly her mother came to mind and what she would do
If there's something you can't find, pray St. Anthony to help you
So she thought she give it a try, as mom had said it never did fail
Saying a prayer and ending in a sigh her patience was now so frail
Just then she heard a loud knock and seen it was the mail courier
"You left your keys in the lock as I put the mail in, there they were"
She chuckled for a minute then said, "I guess my mother was right"
The postal guy didn't quiet get it but that young lady sure seen the light
Thank You St Anthony
