Lost
'LOST'
Standing at a crossroad I feel confused
Three choices of direction lay before me
Make a selection I must choose
Yet obstacles on each is all I can see
I look to my left the path is very steep
Should I take that path and forever climb
If I make it to its' peak will I like what I see
But what if I don't like what I find
I look to my right the path twists and turns
Should I take that path possibly of infinity eight
I could be going around in endless circles
Same thing everyday just a different date
As I look straight ahead the path is falling away
Should I take that path unsure if it might break
If it should crumble and I indeed fall
Is that my life over is that my given fate
Am I to climb, risk circling or tread very light
Each direction has an outcome I cannot foresee
Once my decision is made and selected path taken
Will my chosen direction be the right choice for me
With this confusion at the crossroad I still stand
A wrong selection could be at what cost
A life changing decision it could possibly be
Standing at this crossroad I feel nothing but lost.
