Lost

I feel my head expanding Exploding… In trenches of darkness That I do not see Nor understand I feel frustrations Cover me like thorny vines Yet I cannot make them out I feel suffocated Overstretched… And compressed I want to scream… At what… For what… If only I should know Then perhaps I should find some peace Yet the lines are drawing thin And the strings have tears The music is silent The words are blunt And I am like a plant in this place of confusion Trying to uproot myself This place is murky These feelings are muddy This voice is strained And I wonder… When will I see the light again.
