Lost
I am not always happy
And I am seldom even fun
I'm not always sad
And you are the only one
It seems I always worry
About what the future will hold
Feeling like I forgot something
Too intangible to hold
Can't put my finger on it
It's as elusive as dust
Feeling like I've been cheated
Time passed by in a rush
In the past I felt defeated
Despite once youthful resolve
Did I mistreat or mistreated?
Life's new puzzle to solve
