You left your ghosts behind Things that you failed to say and fix You forgot to leave instructions What am I do to with this mess The crying, the grief Holes in the walls left by your children As they slam through their day Looking for direction Seems as though I have lost my GPS I wake up every day wishing peace would arrive And we can all move on without your emptiness Haunting us I have no answers anymore I have stopped asking why, now I only ask how If I had the energy, I would hate you Now all I feel is loss and sadness Tripping over the pieces of broken hearts that are littered All over the place There are no instructions on how to fix this I wade my way through all your mess Finding little piece of me That was once was……
