Loss
Losing the light
The will, the hope
Darkness surrounds, envelopes
Sucking the air
The life from my lungs
See there is nothing here love
But empty shells
Alone to function
In that warm embrace
That time again has come love
Amongst the masses
Rolling on
Long and twisted roads
You feel their breath
Smell their essence
And all the while
I am alone
The warmth has faded
A distant tingle
Memory skin only
Has of you
Unsteady is the mind
Heart and soul bared
Ruthlessly dragged
Along gravel track roads.
Scars will fade
Perhaps memory too
But the hearts to remember
The spirit of you
I will never be far love
No distance will matter
I am with you forever
Lest? Love is a tatter
