Lord Oh Lord

Lord, Lord Oh Lord What’s a desire? Is it a dart of pleasure, Or a scalding fire? Imprisoned in my room, What shall I do? Wait for the groom, Or the past shall I rue? For today means now, And now I just can’t think, To whomever I would bow, Or stare without a blink. Lord, Oh dear Lord I know I'm weak, Merely longing for a sword, And he owns what I seek. But despite what’s opposing, I still can imagine, Seeing him proposing To end my famine. Then he says Lord. Oh dear Lord, As long as I'm alive, But his love shall I thrive. 28th of dec 06 Jessica J.
