Lord of the Ring (Prophecy)
Was i not the one
the messenger of the code of a ring
the diagram scrawled out among a series of poems
showcased to a board of review
at a mental institute
something they could not legally speak
and then the towers fell
was i not the one
who spelled the word of doom
the night before it struck
secluded on a maximum security ward
still unspoken
the animals ran
before the tsunami
am i not the one
whose first middle and last names are sung heroes
of a non existant crime scene
of the metaphor of life
the broken down science
of watch my back and everyone stands tall
the one life defined to keep safe
the reason we were born
the easy way to protect ourselves
from our own undoings
Am i not these things
the lord of your rings
the one exposing your secrets of silly extravagent things
am i not the one gone this far out of my way
to do what i could for you
is there no one out there for me
when i feel for sure you already know what you must do
Am i not the one crying in the streets of your town
uniting families together with life lessons
of together we stand to prevent our fall
The lord of the rings
from the mental hospital
carried you a message that went unheard
i still serve you a purpose
do not let it go unheard
forfathers of the next generations would prefer
was it not i who warned the life sentence of mans will to do good
the curse of not knowing ones maker
lord of the rings
it is i who has done these things for you
like a karma i could not alone possibly owe
