Lord God, You Are My Wonderful Counsellor

July 7 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Isaiah 9-12 Key Verse – Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY WONDERFUL COUNSELLOR Lord God, You are my wonderful Counsellor always letting me remain in Your goodness Thank You that You make my soul stay in Your graciousness Against oppression of sin-caused brokenness Toward Your forgiveness for my peacefulness. Lord God, You are my wonderful Counsellor always letting me overcome the adversary Thank You that You seek my heart to delight in Your glory Against error that brings misery Toward Your satisfaction for my victory. Lord God, You are my wonderful Counsellor always letting me follow Your instruction Thank You that You lead my faith to soar for service-function Against doubt and hypocrisy’s destruction Toward Your wisdom that guides my direction. Lord God, You are my wonderful Counsellor always letting me abide in Your light Thank You that You make my spirit experience Your miracles’ might Against scourging unbelief’s blight Toward Your triumph I behold with trusting sight. Lord God, You are my wonderful Counsellor always letting me grow in Scriptural understanding Thank You that You make my mind learn by Your prudent attending Against ignorance of deceitful blinding Toward Your illumination for my truth-standing. Lord God, You are my wonderful Counsellor always letting me guarded by Your security Thank You that You make my devotion strong along Your certainty Against vexation due to vanity Toward Your assurance upheld by Your authority. Lord God, You are my wonderful Counsellor always letting me turn to Your comfort Thank You that You make my salvation sealed by Your redemption’s effort Against pride’s attacking discomfort Toward Your safety around Your protection-fort.
