LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY STRONG DEFENSE
Lord God, You are my strong Defense, keeping me in Your righteousness
Thank You for delivering me from adversities’ oppressiveness
Kindle my courage by Your strong steadfastness---
King of kings, I bow to You: surrendering to You with submissiveness.
Lord God, You are my strong Defense, keeping me in Your truth’s counsel
Thank You for silencing me from doubts by Your epistle
Kedge my cowardice away from lack of righteous bravery to wrestle---
King of kings, I honour You: entrusting to You my life’s vessel.
Lord God, You are my strong Defense, keeping me from transgression
Thank You for cleansing me when I seek Your pardon in my confession
Knock down my arrogance by Your biblical instruction---
King of kings, I worship You: praising You Your granted sanctification.
Lord God, You are my strong Defense, keeping me in Your grace
Thank You for blessing me to win along life’s race
Knit my heart within Your fellowship’s embrace---
King of kings, I prioritize You: seeking You always.
Lord God, You are my strong Defense, keeping me in Your might
Thank You for shielding me from deceit by Your light
Kiss away my sorrow’s tears by Your merciful delight---
King of kings, I yield to You: relying on You against vanity’s height.
Lord God, You are my strong Defense, keeping me in Your care continually
Thank You for hearing me in my prayer sincerely
Key in my goals along Your teachings Scripturally---
King of kings, I humble before You: learning from Your Word daily.
Lord God, You are my strong Defense, keeping me in heart against evil
Thank You for guarding me of my choices from peril
Knead my spirituality as I stay in Your perfect will---
King of kings, I depend on You: grateful for Your sacrifice at Calvary’s hill.
