LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY SOUL’S CAPTAIN Lord God, You are my soul’s Captain Who leads me valiantly Thank You for anointing me with purity constantly Through Your reigning virtue authoritatively Taking me away from self-righteousness powerfully. Lord God, You are my soul’s Captain Who establishes me in Your kingdom Thank You for including me up in Your biblical Christendom Through Your Scriptural counselling wisdom Tying me to Your commandments’ freedom. Lord God, You are my soul’s Captain Who calls me into Your care Thank You for accompanying me along Your divine welfare Through Your provisions for my stewardship conviction-dare Teaching me to give generously as well as joyfully share. Lord God, You are my soul’s Captain Who brings me to Your victory Thank You for blessing me with Your supply for the ministry Through Your faith-granted might to conquer worry and misery Transforming me toward triumph by Your miraculous glory. Lord God, You are my soul’s Captain Who rules over me in my godly venture Thank You for planting me in Your heavenly garden’s culture Through Your loving nourishment and nurture Training me by Your mercy’s pasture. Lord God, You are my soul’s Captain Who enables me to be Your servant Thank You for securing me within Your redemption-grant Through Your presence I greatly want Testing me along trials as You stay near, never from a distant. Lord God, You are my soul’s Captain Who subdues me of my pride’s height Thank You for correcting me with Your compassionate might Through Your kindness along judgment’s light Trimming me from carnality-blight.
