Lord God, You Are My Life Consultant
September 19 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on Mark 15-16
Key Verse – Mark 15:1 And straightway in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.
LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY LIFE CONSULTANT
Lord God, You are my life Consultant for my daily deliverance---
Thank You for answering me with Your security-assurance
And protecting me from accusation’s endurance
While I seek Your presence through faith’s appearance.
Lord God, You are my life Consultant for my marvelous undertaking---
Thank You for granting me of my desires with heavenly liking
And releasing me from evils of vanity-striking
While I ask for Your guidance in my ministry-working.
Lord God, You are my life Consultant for my praiseworthy salutation---
Thank You for rebuking me midst my worship hiding self-exaltation
And compelling me to cast to You my cares’ midst sincere supplication
While I surrender to Your cross my pride’s magnification.
Lord God, You are my life Consultant for my comfort from sorrow-darkness---
Thank You for hearing me of my prayer’s earnestness
And filling me with Your grace-goodness
While I give up to Your will my frustrations’ weakness.
Lord God, You are my life Consultant for my stewardship-counselling---
Thank You for inviting me to stay in Your fellowship’s dwelling
And enclosing me within Your peace around truth-sealing
While I enjoy Your kindness warmed by Your love so unfailing.
Lord God, You are my life Consultant for my joyous ministry involvement---
Thank You for clothing me with Your righteousness-garment
And delighting me along Your miracles of amazement
While I walk upon Your holy paths of determination’s commitment.
Lord God, You are my life Consultant for my hopeful heart---
Thank You for exposing to me Your Word for a pleasant day-start
And upholding me to cling to Your promises midst foes’ destructive dart
While I receive Your approval in the fulfillment of entrusted part.
