March 22 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on 2Samuel 1-4 Key Verse –2Samuel 2:5 And David sent messengers unto the men of Jabeshgilead, and said unto them, Blessed be ye of the LORD, that ye have shewed this kindness unto your lord… LORD GOD, YOU ARE MY KINDNESS BLESSER Lord God, You are my kindness Blesser from anguish-attack Thank You for Your care, keeping me in Your security’s pack You alone can secure my peace against misery, grievously black… I need You as I feast in Your blessing sack. Lord God, You are my kindness Blesser from hardship-mourning Thank You for Your comfort, keeping me in Your faith’s refining You alone can uphold my soul against sin-pining… I need You as I repent from sinning. Lord God, You are my kindness Blesser from inquiry’s frustration Thank You for Your courage, keeping me in Your dwelling’s satisfaction You alone can protect my spirit against cowardice-destruction… I need You as I cling to Your truth and kindness-action. Lord God, You are my kindness Blesser from battle’s loss Thank You for Your correction, keeping me in Your sacrifice-cross You alone can strengthen my will against vanity, worldly gross… I need You as I turn away from wilderness’ moss. Lord God, You are my kindness Blesser from war’s waxing weakness Thank You for Your charge, keeping me in Your courage-steadfastness You alone can deliver my flesh against fainting weariness… I need You as I lean on Your strength’s steadfastness. Lord God, You are my kindness Blesser from communication’s failure Thank You for Your compassion, keeping me in Your loving cure You alone can reign over my heart against desires that injure… I need You as I bind myself to Your mercy’s grandeur. Lord God, You are my kindness Blesser from feebleness’ trouble Thank You for Your calling, keeping me spiritually stable You alone can uphold my commitment against selfishness-stubble… I need You as I fulfill Your will, staying humble.
