Looks So Deceiving
A woman I know can put on a show
With a body like Aphrodite;
One look at her all and a man might fall
On his face, she’s so inviting.
With sumptuous lips and curvaceous hips
And a walk that screams “Come hither,”
And a smile contagious and tongue outrageous
Like a snake in the grass that slithers.
A weaker man I am I am
Drawn in like a vortex pool –
The nearer we step the more I suspect
The sooner I’ll end up the fool.
With looks so deceiving, undeniably pleasing
By anyone’s casual glance –
She’s tiger inside and black widow who hides
Her true intentions are never romance.
I’ve seen her kind from time to time
Whose vanity exceeds all measure –
True beauty is more than one twist on the floor
And a perfectly priceless treasure.
