Looking Into a Mirror
Looking into a mirror, a beautiful lady's face stares,
and smiles back at one who reflects about her place in
society, about finding that secret spiritual place within herself.
For a moment the clock stills, her smile turns upside down.
When she was in her mother's womb she was safe.
Born into a wonderful world of surrounding love, an unseen
visitor soon made himself known.
Fear, along with his loyal companions, Insecurity,
Abandonment, Doubt, make it their life's work to prey on
those weaknesses in spirit that we have left unguarded.
Growing evermore into an inner peace as time moves on,
this woman is now not always that young woman, because
she knows and becomes aware of that with each passing
day that her life is a special gift.
Now the lady gazing into the mirror smiles once again.
Her mind pushes the unwelcome visitors even further into
healing, a final vortex of conquering faith.
