Look Ye and See

O ye heavens From thy dwelling of no time  The reside of the eterne Where beings of beauty and the good abode Look and see Below where streams Flow tears  and seas are crimson  See our fathers taken  Where fists are clinched  with hate, hearts weeping not love deceased  life having no forgiveness of sins Humanity,  the brawling of brothers See our mothers sorrowed with loneliness  Weeping the son  slaved to exist Whilst they sit crowned  on a scarlet coloured beast holding a bow,  hiding the arrow Conquering and to conquer  with deceit See the land we plough dry and barren Giving birth to thorns  and thistles of injustice And conned democracy  silencing freedom of our speech Denying children to eat  of their father's struggles  bread While they drink of our sweat milk and honey  See our streams  in turbulence flow tears of anguish  Cried in silence of heart betrayed by the ballot Made captive  by the hand  that promised to feed Peace in freedom of unity See our dreams In the thickest of darkness haunted by nightmares Of doom Failing young hearts Wandering empty streets barefooted blistered fighting handicapped to exist while Subdued by fear, The sting of dictatorship See tomorrow of a generation I beget, Poverty laden streets rotten of incurable diseases Bullets and bombs for their pride and grandeur Sucking innocent blood strength of their existence Till all that's left Is tears we cry. 'See O thee that illuminates, Take to remembrance  evils of our elders and shut thy moon  her light before them shine not stars in darkness  they seek friendship Let tears of the sun flood their paths and erode their bridge walls turning the hearts of their children against desires they hold making their household a desolate plain'
