Look Inside
If you took a tender tear...and held it oh so near
What would you see inside?
A meal less man with a reaching hand
With haunting hurts stretching oh so wide
If you held a broken heart...and tore it all apart
What would you see inside?
A wounded woman with venomous vermin
With all the abuse she will nest and hide
If you saw a fragile frown...and smashed it to the ground
What would you see inside?
A cheated child within the wild
From cribs to jail cells with hands now tied
If I hand a magic wand...quickly I would respond
To heal the world with just a swirl
All within one stride...
If I captured your stellar soul...and had a peek thru heavens hole
What would I see inside?
