Look Inside

When your troubles look too big, Look inside. When it seems like you can't win, Look inside. When you think you're going to fail, When you feel you're going insane, Just stop and close your eyes... Look inside! You made it here all by yourself, You're strong! You did what they said you couldn't do, You're bold! You stepped up and showed them You're capable of anything; They see it in you, Now it's your turn - Look inside. Little eyes look up and see a strong mother - Fierce, beautiful, independent; A mother's love cannot be matched, It's a power quite transcendent; But you're both a mother and a father, You comfort and you provide... You are stronger than you know, Just look inside. When you feel everything around you is complicated, When your walls are closing in and you feel suffocated, When your legs are weak, or your eyes are heavy, When your mind is numb, or your gait unsteady, When you need to find strength... Look inside You're a hero to many, an inspiration, A statement, a symbol, a celebration; You are love and love is you You are grace and gentleness too, You are a force of nature, single mother, just look inside.
