Look In the Mirror

“LOOK IN THE MIRROR” Look in the mirror and what do you see A vision of the past and what you could be Kind eyes that are filled with pain Shelter yourself or go insane Look in the mirror, do you love what is there Do you have thoughts of betrayal, or an empty stare Fighting your demons and the turmoil within Have you lived a good life or was it all a sin Look in the mirror, straight on or down Do you see but a smile or a hurtful frown Times gone by another wrinkle appears drown yourself in sorrow, wash away your fears Look in the mirror, a flash back from the past Time on this earth seems to fly, it goes by so fast Live life to the fullest as your time grows nearer Enjoy what you have, each time you look in the mirror g.d. 05/21/16
