Look At Me

I wish when you would look at me You’d see inside & not just the surface I love to hear you say how cute I am How attractive & how beautiful How much you love my curves, and compliment my smooth soft skin with the tips of your fingers running across my side And when you look at me with those eager eyes I know that you want me There’s no doubt in my mind, Your eyes tell me that I’m beautiful It feels good, but not lasting All my life, it’s all I wanted to hear The man in my life acknowledge my outer beauty I never heard it said before, it meant the world to me And now that it’s all you ever say to me I realize… It’s not important now It never was I look in the mirror & my beauty cant hide Who I am inside I’m constantly questioning my worth The kind of girl I am and the kind of girl I want to be And If I’m happy where I’m at Now all I wish is that you’d look at me Look past what your physical eyes can see And peer into my inner being And when you see inside me Who I really am If you find that I’m worth loving That’s what will mean the world to me
