Look

Look right through me Look for the 21 old spitfire fighter pilot me On the runway preparing to take off Hoping to change the course of war Look at me when I am poor and unsure Look at me when I am happy Old and inferred and wearing nappies And look at me now Look at my lines Look at my wrinkles Now look at what you are going to miss As I stare into the abyss Now look at me as I blow What may be my final kiss And I pray you know this Is heaven be bliss You are the only thing about this life I am going to miss
