Longing For

Fair is the flower, her petals worn and bare love had left her waiting life had been unfair. She waits in the aching sun, the rain has drenched her so yet she holds out hope can't seem to just let go. As she began to give and bend, a hand reached for her to hold the warmth revived her heart that started to turn cold. As her petals flourished, her mind could not prepare the love she so longed for was even more true as it is rare. Date:5/23/2019 Written by: Jessica Thompson
