Long Time Waiting
I've counted days, weeks, months, and years.
Keeping my faith through all my tears.
I could not give in to all the hate.
Somehow I knew, it was not too late.
The world we live in is sometimes strange.
Who I am, i'll never change.
Happiness in life is the ultimate test.
I'm sure i'll pass, just like all the rest.
Expecting nothing, I have nothing to lose.
The road that I travel will be what I choose.
Just by being alive, I was given a shot.
I'll make the best use out of all that I got!
