Long Ago
It happened such a long time ago. I continued to keep holding onto the hurt, hurtling and harming myself.
Thoughts clouding my mind. The guilt the fears the pain it felt like I was going insane.
It happened such a long time ago. I kept holding onto the deep deadly despair.
Thoughts clouding my mind. I was spiralling out of control. You were winning.
I learnt to let go to forgive and move on. It happened such a long time ago. I’m now free to be me.
