Lonely October

I lay on the grass, Watching the leaves fall down, Hearing every bit of sound, I lay on the grass, Feeling so bitter and cold, I was there to watch every leaf, go from green to gold, I lay on the grass, Tasting the essence of the breeze, Feeling so cold I might freeze, I lay on the grass, Feeling every bit of sorrow, What a lonely moment, What a lonely October!
