The golden sun's clear illumination Reveals the white blossoms The deep green magnolia's leaves Shiny against the sun The pale pink running rose's blossoms Delicately arrayed Steeped in shadows' protection Deep loneliness ever stays Trapped by other taller plants Less of a beauty they Kept close to be admired by one While the whole world stays Unfinished

It seems to be complete the way it is... marvelous phrasing and vivid imagery. I expected a piece about a lonely human being... I was pleasantly surprised to find your subject is a flower. A pleasing cadence and fine rhyming. Well done indeed! Best wishes, Keith

Hi Sarah. What a great little poem of how beauty is often times hidden by the masses. This can sometimes be a blessing as God's plan is many time to hard for us to understand. Very nice and I will check back to read when you believe that you have finished. Enjoyed it, my friend.... Robert.

Sarah, I'm always amazed by your deep appreciation for nature. It just flows beautifully in what you write. I love the magnolia...the scent is so beautiful. I see the deeper meaning in those lines...will come back when you are done. Eileen
