Lonely

Sometimes I love the lonely. This solitary feeling. The internal longing. Waiting for her. My heart's anticipation. I feel the emptiness and quiet of our room. I wonder, is she thinking of me? Feeling lonely as well? Am I far from her mind? Wait this isn't so great, the walls are closing in. I feel my heart beginning to ache. Ring! Ring! "I miss you Sweetie" she makes me smile a happy lonely smile.

This is very sweet, Rick! You capture feelings of yearning and longing so very well. Love is so bittersweet, n'est-ce pas?

A smile that senses completion. Yet, that piece/peace is not in front of that smile. I feel this so much.
