Loneliness

Life can be hard when you live on your own No one to share with no one at home When you go out it’s the same when you return This could be loneliness you soon learn No one’s there to join in things you like to do No one to comfort you when you’re feeling blue Life is hard when there’s no one in your life No loving doting husband or loving caring wife But look at it again, there is a good side Eating what you want to eat and not having to hide No major rows there is peace and quiet No little children there running riot Keeping the remote control and being in charge Being on your own ain’t bad by and large

HI Pamela, Thank you for your kind thoughts on my poem today,I miss being with someone who is truly caring and kind and loving and if I had it to do all over again I wouldn' mind sharing the remote or eating different foods that my partner enjoys eating as long as she doesn't mind eating my favorite foods too because that's what sharing is all about so it would be wonderful to be loved and to be able to love again,Thank you for sharing this beautiful poem, Dean
