Living Life
I am Lost easily
in the tattered mix of years
drifting in between
both joy, love, heartache and tears.
Memories survive
of growing up and learning
and are constant in my mind replayed
of the many unplanned life journies
Missteps and mistakes
often recalled with sadness and regret
as life passages continue
undeterred and moving forward and set.
Peace and acceptance
fill the years and decades gone
as progress and reason
keeps us going on.
Let me live for now
with welcomed anticipation
the days yet to be seen and known
in living life without any hesitation.
