Living In the Now

LIVING IN THE NOW. Why wait for the unknown, Tomorrow is still afar, Seconds, minutes and hours in a heap of pile, Floating by as you invest your time worrying. Posses what you can this second, Enjoy the little highs that life bring, Dwell not in the lows of the moment, The choice is yours to be happy. Hold not tomorrow in high esteem, It could offer you nothing but hopelessness. Take delight in the now and search for the great things in it, That’s all you have. We are wired to strive for tomorrow, Believing that tomorrow holds the answer to all our wishes, Thus failing to see the beauty of now, A now that is always there for our taking. The chatter of little kids, The rising and setting of the sun, Enjoy not just summer but Autumn, Spring and Mostly winter, Seek for the good in everything that every second possess. Let the now provide your daily bread, Sow all the seeds of hope this second, Harvest what you can from the fertile fields of now, Tomorrow will take care of itself.
