Living In Infamy
I live in infamy alone and unafraid
I see what is coming and brace myself
I know and love people of all different shades
Even though they offer me no help
When I fall down I pick myself up
When I am out I get right back in
I will make it if I have to hop, skip, or jump
If it suddenly ends I will find a new way to begin
The day slowly fades and goes away
Leaving me here to face the night
I try to keep the cold at bay
With the thought of the coming sunlight
Many people they know who I am
Yet they look right through me
If they see me they see a lonely man
A man who is forced to live in infamy
