Little White Pills

Sittin at home, all by yourself  Bottles lined up on the shelf.  Little white pills—take the pain away;  You'll never have to face another day.     Sittin at home, about three-quarter's cut  Family and friends think you're a nut.  Little white pills—take the pain away;                      You'll never have to face another day.     Sittin at home, your life's a mess:  Must've screwed up somewhere, you guess.  Little white pills—take the pain away;  You'll never have to face another day.     Take the bottles down, one by one,  Pop the pills till they're all gone.  Little white pills take the pain away;  Never again to see light of day.                                D H Loewen                                 Copyright Nov.22, 2002                             All rights reserved
