Little Girl

You didn't have a care In the world When you were a little girl The worst thing that could happen to you Was tripping over your shoe When I look at you All I see Is the innocent little girl I used to be The little child that didn't Have anything to worry about A little girl who didn't Have any doubt Mommy and Daddy took care of it all Even when you Had a little fall Mommy would kiss your boo-boo I'm so glad that You didn't have a clue The world is much More scary than you think Just please promise Me you won't blink Stay so innocent And true Promise me you will Stay you Don't grow up too Fast Because then today soon Will become the past Stay a little girl for today Tomorrow is on its way
