Listen

We are all one of God’s creatures Although we have different shapes and different features And some of us are rich and some are poor But none of that means anything, when it’s time to walk through his door Some of us have our sight and some of us are blind But I bet you didn’t know that God only has one line And I know he has created so many beautiful things I consider myself one of them, a strong Black African Queen Although some of us are selfish, majority of us do have a good heart And some of us are stingy, and their money they didn’t want to part Although I don’t believe that you don’t understand That everything we own, is because of one man Yeah, you worked hard to get the things you have But you can’t take them with you, there’s no room up the path And I know that he is watching everything that we do and say I’m just thankful to wake up and see another day
