Linear Peace

Oh, let me sit in peace and go, within the pages white as snow; between the lines as black as coal to all the places You have sowed. Oh, let me sit in peace and see, the whole wide world You’ve made for me. The mountains high the valleys low, the pristine passes ripe with snow. Oh, let me sit in peace and go, from my life to Kipling’s “Just So.” Between the leafs and lines I’ll Be alight, aflame, pure harmony. Oh, let me sit in peace and know, the mysteries of friend and foe.

They can only disrupt your peace if you allow it. Stay strong. Vince

This is a prayer...to the universe and those seeking to disrupt my peace...to let me be...let me be...

in the company of the right person, where you are safe to be yourself always, you then continue to journey to know yourself, and in that process, you can know the other as well. The moment you step into trying to change or control, you have lost that grace.

Deborah. Thank you for the clarification. And, this poem you wrote is lovely...evokes such serenity. But, Deborah...I am a 78-year-old lady with the mind of a youth... I have lived long...searched and searched...and my dear child..I am still searching. One can live an entire life - be very intelligent and aware as I am...and STILL not know "me or Thee." Trust me on this one. Patricia
