Lilacs

Their purple blossoms herald Spring. Their fragrance pure, memories bring. Every year on Mother's Day blooms in vases on display. Lilacs, these I love the best. Far more fragrant than the rest. Such a short life that they live but, oh, the joy that they give. 30/08/2022 for Eight lines of Rhyme: Your favorite flower contest

Hello Francine, We had a beautiful lilac tree that grew in the front garden of our first home and the fragrance it gave off was really lovely. Congratulations on your placement. I enjoyed reading your "Lilacs" Cheers Anne :-)
