Like Her

Love I'm a Drunk just like her, Wasting the emotions down the bottles I pour, And more i see I'm just like her, Wasting myself down the bottles I order more, So the questions seem lose and thoughts leave, Trying to find peace when I'm just like her, Drinking to mask the pain I cover up, Love I'm drunk and the first two poems are done, Burn for no one to see, I'm just like her, Drinking myself to sleep, watching the moon dance cross the sky, And love I'm drunk I'm looking into the mirror to know I'm just like her, Itching to drink to let lose the pain I bottle up, Who knew I'll be like her even thought i came from her, To know I follow in her footsteps to know, I'm like her, even though I love her, She brought me to this world, Who knew I'll be just like her, Watching the drinks she drank when I young, To know why the anger and hateful comes from, To know I'm just like her, And I still love her for giving me the gift of life, May one day she'll know she had a good son who wasted his life in the bottle from which she drank her's alway with.
