Like A Sunflower

 Let the rain fall down

or the fog roll in

no matter what it won't change

where I've been

Let the snow cover

everything seen

the dam can break

just as dust is in the wind.

Time is nothing but a measurement

and measurements can change

just like the weather can go

from sun to rain.

I am like a sunflower out in the heat

no matter which way you plant me

I will never turn north south or east

and like my life I always turn back to you.
