Light's Glow
Have you heard of the witch’s deadly poison?
Have you ever felt winter’s rough seasons?
Tonight, I have seen when my sunlight fades away
Tonight, I felt a burn on my skin when your smile didn’t stay
You spent your last smiling hours with me
You filled my night with the best fantasy
You shared your last happy moments with me
You drew a beam on my face’s ecstasy
I didn’t realize those moments were the tonight’s end
I couldn’t see your joy’s deadline seed
For if I knew tonight’s savaging scheme
I would have looked for a cure to the pain’s haunting dream
Have you ever heard of the witch’s deadly poison?
Have you ever felt winter’s rough seasons?
Tonight, I have seen when my sunlight fades away
Tonight, I felt a burn on my skin when your smile didn’t stay
Wind has different breezes to blow
Some might be friends while others are foes
But, to know what is tonight’s show
Wisdom and Knowledge must be on the glow
Wisdom can be a mere badge on one’s shoulders
Dust covering all of its borders
Knowledge might be an award hung on a wall
Dust covering its texture’s role
Have you heard of the witch’s deadly poison?
Have you ever felt winter’s rough seasons?
Tonight, I have seen when my sunlight fades away
Tonight, I felt a burn on my skin when your smile didn’t stay
Yes…I have been living with you for sixteen years
Yes…I can not see you filled up with cheerless tears
Tonight, I have seen when my sunlight fades away
But, your smile’s appearance softened the cloud’s stay
