Lightning Strikes

Dreary rainy days droplets fall to earth Grey sky above on Earth we reach for sustenance No sunlight to brighten our days As the clock continues to mark the passing hours We pray that that the sun will once again appear in the sky Tomorrow - there is always tomorrow Our songs have not yet All been sung

I enjoyed reading your wonderful poetry this morning Matthew. It has been awhile since I have been reading and commenting. So going to make it short this time with a promise to try and read more often after the holidays. Have a wonderful weekend and may it be full of love and joy. Love, Carol
