Light of Lovers

Sensuous sounds of love whisper their song of plight amid empurpled trees fading with sun's pale light. Starlings transmute to stars as lovers’ hands entwine with feelings of passion, as demure dreams align. Two embrace the moment sharing ardent glances. Promises are offered as evening advances. Morning is yet away, sunrise is not in sight. Just the light of lovers shines in their eyes tonight.

Dear Linda, This is a beautiful and sensual piece. The imagery of the "emburpled trees" and "stars transmuting to stars" creates a dreamlike atmosphere for the lovers' connection. The line "demure dreams aligning" adds a touch of sweetness to their shared longing. The poem ends on a captivating note, highlighting the lovers' light shining brighter than the coming sunrise. It's a beautiful testament to the power of love's illumination. Linda this is a romantic and evocative poem! - Blessings, Daniel
