Light At the End of a Tunnel

Tunnel is long and dark To its position there is no mark Its dismal feeling is like teeth of a shark One must be insane to go in there to look for hope’s ark Yet something through darkness will unveil Something that makes sense out of this miserable tale Like a beacon towards which a ship will sail Like a spirit of hope that darkness will derail At the end of unholy tunnel there is a light That will put end to eternal night Something that to deepest essence of soul gives delight Something of spellbinding sight One can die or grow through strife Be cut or cut with one’s own knife Place of stone and light puts end to the rife And even in reverse balance of judgment gives absolute meaning to life
