Light
ight is ominous
and therefore inviting.
we choose to fallow it, crave it as an addiction
to such a point that when we reach it,
we only wish to make it illuminate brighter.
light however is blinding.
we wield it in triumph trying to blind and scorch our dark foes;
(parts of ourselves perhaps) but only wind up leaving ourselves with scars and burns.
it will leave us with less
and none to gain; twisting into a snake-like devil
leaving us incapable to see, to comprehend or use common sense.
to chase the light is our nature.
to catch the light is worth.
to misuse the light, to look to closely into it
is destruction ......
